Our History
CompleteDTC was created by Ridgely Evers in 2009.
Ridgely was a driving force behind the development of QuickBooks and is a lifelong small-business advocate. Together with his wife, chef Colleen McGlynn, they founded DaVero Farms & Winery, a biodynamic farm and winery located in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County. Collectively, as a winery owner with a background in software development, Ridgely knew there had to be a better way to manage DTC business and customer relationships, so in 2009, CompleteDTC was started.
In May 2022, CompleteDTC was acquired by Zerolink.
Zerolink was set up by Steven Harrison and Lorin Kobashigawa in 2006. They had one goal in mind; provide producers with a single comprehensive end-to-end solution so they can grow their direct-to-consumer business and connect directly with their customers. They observed producers were struggling to navigate the complexities of direct sales, so they sought to create a simplified solution.
Launched in 2006, Vinoshipper was the start of Zerolink’s mission. Vinoshipper began as a compliance software platform to ensure the legal sales of alcohol products from in the tasting room to nationwide shipments. The platform evolved to include robust e-commerce, wine club and POS tools.
Where We Are Today
In early 2023, CompleteDTC and Vinoshipper will be integrated. This creates an enormous opportunity for producers to manage their business and expand their sales in a single, comprehensive and compliant solution. Upon completion, it will be the first and only of its kind in the direct alcohol sales industry.
